One of my favorite parts about this wedding was their ceremony underneath this massive, ancient tree on the Barr Mansion grounds. There’s something so powerful about exchanging vows under a tree that has been a part of soooo many weddings and love stories!

Capturing this garden celebration on both 35mm film and digital allowed me to really lean in when it came to not only the traditional posed photos, but the nostalgic candid photos that every couple loves. Film has this ability to capture the feeling of a moment, sometimes in a way that digital can’t match. The light throughout the Barr Mansion grounds is absolutely gorgeous for both film and digital photography. I was so happy to see how their film turned out once it was developed.
